At 8:00am, depart from Ho Chi Minh City to the Mekong Delta with our guide and driver. The journey takes approximately 2.5 hours. Arrive in My Tho, a town located at the heart of the Mekong Delta. Stop at Vinh Trang Buddhist temple to learn about one of the biggest religion in Vietnam. Then take a boat trip along the Mekong River, a chance to see the beautiful scenery of the delta and observe local life. You might even see some traditional fishing boats.

Explore local livings on the islands in the Delta. On Thoi Son Island, listening Don Ca – traditional folklore which is recognised by UNESCO as intangibel culture heritage and try some tropical fruits grown locally. Followed by visiting a bee farm, enjoying a cup of honey tea, and learning about the importance of beekeeping in the region. After that, take a rowing boat through a creek covered by water coconut leaves to enjoy the tranquility. Then jump on local branded lambro (xe lam) for a ride around the village. Ending the tour at a coconut factory to have wided eyes about how coconut candies are made with different flavors and other coconut-based products.

Have set menu lunch at a local restaurant. Mekong Delta cuisine is known for its fresh ingredients and unique flavors. You can try some of the specialties like elephant ear fish, Canh chua ( sweet and sour soup), etc.

Back to Ho Chi Minh city in the afternoon. Tour ends at about 4:30pm .
