After the lovely breakfast, start the easy walk to Lech village, a home of Red Dao people. The walk commences from Topas Ecolodge on a quiet road with a great view of the rice terrace below. You then take a slightly ascent to Lech village. You will visit a local house, meet the friendly Red Dao hosts and experience their daily way of life. The Red Dao women got their hair and eyes brows shaved like their ancestors and wear very colorful customs. They are famous for beautiful handmade embroidery and basket weaving. Later you may visit the village’s school and will learn about education and school system in the Northern Mountains of Vietnam. On the way back to Topas Ecolodge, you will walk on small trails passing rice terraces and cross a suspension bridge. The guide will explain the interesting cultivating culture of the local farmers.

Today, you are going to gain such an insightful history of Vietnam War. You are picked up by our private bus and guide to Vinh Moc tunnel. This tunnel is lesser crowded than Cu Chi tunnel in Ho Chi Minh city. Listen to our local guide share its tunnel and how it was used during Vietnam war. Continue with DMZ areas at 17th parallel including Hien Luong bridge and Ben Hai River which was the border between the North and the South during the war. Stop at a local restaurant for lunch. Then continue the 2-hour journey to Hue.

Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam, is a city rich in history, culture, and architectural marvels. The city tour takes you on a journey through the city’s heritage, exploring the grandeur of the Imperial Citadel, the serenity of Thien Mu Pagoda, and the regal splendor of a King’s Tomb.
Local living moment: you are invited to a local family for dinner, which is such an authentic local experience to understand about their rural life and daily food. The feast represents the family’s hospitality welcoming guests. Pick up at the hotel at 6pm.

After breakfast in the hotel, drive to Hue train station to catch the newly operated Hue – Danang heritage train which offers an impressive journey through the Hai Van Pass, which is among some of the most beautiful drives in the world.
Upon arrival in Danang, transferred to your hotel.
After check in and a quick rest, head out to visit Son Tra peninsula, a mountainous headland blanketed in forest with beautiful roads rolling around its contours, located roughly an hour drive in the outskirts of Danang overlooking the bay and the vast expanse of the ocean, towering 600 meters above sea level. Stop at the Linh Ung pagoda, a peaceful and tranquil destination that offers stunning views and a spiritual experience. The highlight of Linh Ung pagoda is undoubtedly the Lady Buddha statue. Standing at a height of 67 meters, it is the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam.
Next, drive deeper up the Son Tra Mountain to Ban Co Peak, the highest point of Son Tra Peninsular, for its stunning views over the entire Danang city. Son Tra mountain is home to the critically endangered Red-Shanked Doucs langur, a brightly coloured old-world monkey, with distinctive reddish brown legs, and a vibrant yellow-orange face, if you are lucky to see them along the way. It was these monkeys that Son Tra was formerly referred to as Monkey Mountain, a nam that was popular with Americans during the war. You can still see some of the old military facilities there, including the old helicopter landing pad and the radar station.
At the end of the tour, drive back to the city center and arrive back to the hotel safely.
The rest of the evening is yours to enjoy. Enjoy the stunning soft sand beaches or visit the famous and popular Dragon bridge and the rotating Han bridge over Han river in the evening.

Drive to Da Nang for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City or Sai Gon, once the capital of South Vietnam and the country’s commercial centre.
Enjoy the half day city tour to gain a deep insight of Sai Gon history from the French colonial time to Vietnam war. Immerse yourself in the history of the Vietnam War at the War Remnants Museum. This sobering museum displays artifacts, photographs, and exhibits that depict the war’s impact on Vietnam. Next, head to the Independence Palace, also known as the Reunification Palace. This opulent building was the former residence of the South Vietnamese President. Then head to Notre Dame Cathedral, a beautiful example of French colonial architecture. After breakfast, take a boat trip heading to local squatting market and transporting goods such as coconuts from one factory to the other, crossing local ferry to visit beautiful Cao Dai temple. We also had a chance to see these factories. Situated alongside the river, these are small coconut-processing operations. Once the coconut has been shelled, the coconut fibers are removed from the husk to make rope, which in turn is used to weave rugs.
